Hi! I'm merryghoul. I have a few media accounts here and there, but if you want to see what I'm into fic-wise, you can check out my Pinboard: merryghoul. (It's the social network I update the most.)

In general I like works that focus on crimes, hurt/comfort, noir AUs, fairy tale and/or mythology AUs, angst, fluff, the friends to lovers trope, magical people and worlds, sharing a bed, and pretend couples. For more sexually explicit fics, my favorite kinks are knifeplay, spanking, bondage, begging, and femdom. I also am found of the "aliens made them do it" and "sex pollen" tropes. But if you want to write or draw something sexually explicit without any particular kink, I also like that as well.

In general, I would like to not see or read about the following: character bashing, characters constantly getting hurt, vomitplay, high school AUs, mundane AUs for all the sci-fi and fantasy canons I've requested, schmoop, works focused on a character's pregnancy, and second person fics.

For this exchange, I'm requesting fanfic only.

Burn Notice

Sam Axe/Fiona Glenanne, Sam Axe/Fiona Glenanne/Michael Westen: I'm fascinated with a day in the life (completely ignoring Michael's burn notice/affiliation with the "evil" CIA) with either of these pairings.

I'm interested what these couples do on a day off. There's one episode where Fiona tries to get Michael to come to lunch at the Delano with her, but he refuses. Later, he's shown at a shooting range with Sam. So I imagine that for their day off, these pairings go on a lunch date, to a shooting range, to the beach…Pretty much, this prompt is about a staycation in Miami for these pairings.

I also like fics where these pairings are involved in a job. For instance, one person's found a client in need of help, or Fiona needs help with catching a bounty…what the job entails is up to you.

Don't feel limited by my suggestions. If you have another idea, feel free to roll with it.


Doctor Who

With any of these pairings, if you'd like to, Torchwood and/or New Who crossovers are fine. Please, no crossovers with fandoms other than Torchwood and/or New Who.

I haven't heard all the Big Finish audios, and I haven't read a lot of tie-in books/comics with Doctor Who. But I wouldn't be opposed to elements of those books and audios appearing in your fic, if you choose to include them.

River Song/Mels Zucker: I know, canon doesn't allow the two to technically be able to touch each other, but feel free to ignore that. River missing out on her larcenous days hanging out with her parents and hooking up with her younger self would be fun. Or something a bit more serious: River realizes something's wrong in her timeline, and River needs to find Mels to fix the thing or face not existing anymore.

Eleventh Doctor/Mels Zucker: Eleven hooks up with Mels somehow while she's in Leadworth. Or what if Mels wasn't accidentally shot by Hitler, and never regenerated into her River Song persona? Is she still able to break her conditioning and stop herself from killing the Doctor, or does their relationship become one where they're romantically involved, but still enemies?

Fifth Doctor/Nyssa of Traken: The two of them traveling alone between Tegan first leaving the TARDIS and later rejoining it. Or an older Nyssa rejoining the TARDIS later in her life, but without being married to someone else--what happens after that?

Fifth Doctor/Tegan Jovanka: Five helping Tegan get through some trauma, like the Mara or something else. Or just the two of them traveling alone, trying to get Tegan back to Heathrow, her time, but failing to do so, and bickering all the way.

Fifth Doctor/Tegan Jovanka/Nyssa of Traken: Five tries to take Tegan and Nyssa to someplace he's been before, but it's several years into that someplace's past or future. Or anything where the three of them get into a spot of trouble and have to get themselves out of it.

Fifth Doctor/Vislor Turlough: I'm intrigued by the idea of Turlough, still under the influence of the Black Guardian, getting into a relationship with Five. Or the two of them traveling together alone would be great, like their few Big Finish audios they have together.

Romana I/Romana II : I know, canon doesn't allow these two to technically be able to touch each other either, but feel free to ignore that. I imagine these two crossing paths while working with the Fourth Doctor--what happens after they meet? Or I'd be interested in the two of them somehow bumping into each other on Gallifrey.

Seventh Doctor/Ace McShane: In a Big Finish audio, Ace admits that actually was in love with the Seventh Doctor. Even if you haven't heard that audio, I'd like to see a scene where the two admit their feelings for each other and embark upon a relationship. Or I'd like to see them as an established couple, fighting evil together while being in love.

Tegan Jovanka/Nyssa of Traken: I'm inspired a bit by this meta--someone matchmaking Tegan and Nyssa so they can get together. (It doesn't have to be the TARDIS--it can be anyone! Adric, Turlough, the Doctor, Ainsley!Master, a New Who and/or Torchwood character--go nuts!) Or Tegan and Nyssa, as an established couple, on holiday away from the Doctor.


The Librarians

Eve Baird/Lamia: I'm interested in a D.E.B.S.-style AU, where the two are supposed to be enemies but discover that they make a great couple. (You can keep their roles as they are in canon instead of making it a spy AU as well.) I do understand not everyone's fond of AUs, though, and I'm also intrigued by, and fine with, keeping their antagonistic relationship in canon.

Cassandra Cillian/Lamia: Anything exploring the various realities of these two would be awesome. I'd love to see an antagonistic relationship between the two in the main universe of the canon. I'd like to see what happens if Cassandra never got rid of the Apple of Discord, stayed evil, and partnered with Lamia. Or a scene in the universe where Cassandra is the sole Librarian and Lamia becomes her liege and her lover after Eve dies. Even the D.E.B.S.-style AU mentioned above would be great with those two.

Eve Baird/Cassandra Cillian: In the main universe, I'd love to see Cassandra and Eve get over their trust issues and get into a relationship. (You can get rid of Flynn as you see fit or just ignore him.) Or I'd like to see the two of them in alternate universes. An AU of the two of them stuck as the Princess and the Prince in that town would be awesome. Or exploring Eve and Cassandra in the universe where Cassandra is the sole Librarian would be great.

Eve Baird/Flynn Carsen: Where did those two go at the end of Seasons One? Tell me. Or what if Eve was Flynn's first Guardian? What could've happened between the two of them? (Don't worry about not seeing the Librarian movies in regards to the second prompt--go crazy with it!)


Orphan Black

Helena/Grace Johanssen: I'd love either of the following: Something that explores a twisted AU relationship between the two the Prolethean compound. Or an AU where they leave Henrik's farm together and go on the run.

Helena/Jesse (Orphan Black): I'd love to see a canon divergent AU where they could be together. Maybe they leave the bar they met at together. Maybe Jesse becomes an accomplice of Sarah and Helena's. Or maybe Helena was actually successful in finding Jesse after leaving Felix's loft.

Sarah Manning/Cal Morrison: I'd like to see their relationship prior to Sarah leaving Cal. Or I'm also fine with an AU where Sarah and Cal live happily with Kira, well after the clone conspiracy has been solved.

Rachel Duncan/Sarah Manning: I would like a fic that maintains and explores their dynamic in canon. Lots of hatred and threats between the two. Feel free to take their relationship as dark as you can take it; if it goes into noncon/blood/gore/anything but my squicks, I'm fine with it.


Scorpion (TV 2014)

Paige Dineen/Walter O'Brien, Toby Curtis/Happy Quinn: The canon already is showing some shippy moments between these two couples, but I wouldn't mind seeing more. It can be a casefic, where these couples have to work together to stop some sort of awful thing from happening. They can be hanging out in their headquarters, working on their various projects or goofing off. Or it can be an AU of canon events (like showing the date Toby and Happy never went on, or having Walter admit his feelings to Paige while avoiding his car crash and everything that happened after that). Feel free to include Ralph if you like!

Catastrophe/Trinity: How did The Trinity nurse Catastrophe back to health after she was betrayed? And how did The Trinity encourage her to exact revenge on Arsyn? Is she still present in Catastrophe's life after Catastrophe trains to exact revenge?

Arysn/Catastrophe: How did these two start working together? What tempted Arsyn to betray Catastrophe? Or what happened after the end of the video, when Arysn and Catastrophe are about to fight each other?
