This fic was originally posted on 22 December 2011 for christmasbang on LJ, a now defunct Christmas-themed bang, obviously. I decided to repost this to clean up some of the HTML and because I wanted the hyperlinks to reflect my username change without redirects. The header has also been changed because the artist who worked on the art for this fic deleted their journal. (And there's nothing to warn for in this fic, really.) I never saved the art, alas.

It's been a while since I've done snowflake_challenge, and I'd really like to do some of the challenges this year. I say some because day two's activity is to share something in fandom that has changed your life, and I don't feel very passionate about some of the fannish things that lead me to fandom any more.
