I have to be honest: I found a fic where Shayna and Ember were mentioned briefly in a fic about a wrestler orgy. The fic was set during SummerSlam 2018, and I'm not sure if the writer confused the NXT Takeover that actually happened before SummerSlam 2018 (Brooklyn 4) with the one that happened before WrestleMania 34 (New Orleans) or not? I don't think Ember was involved in SummerSlam that year. (She was promoted to Raw after New Orleans.) I liked the pairing but chose against remixing that one line into a longer fic. I almost confused my Takeovers while writing the fic--I almost set it in Chicago instead of New Orleans! But I fixed the errors, and I'm hoping to write a longer fic involving missed opportunities for Ember and Shayna and Shayna getting someone else she (kayfabe) hates to tend to her injuries and get her back to Orlando.
