So I got a card from tardis_library, which is running a summer reccing challenge bingo. I had no idea, between working on my Jukebox fic and disagreeing with various theories about Dirty Computer: An Emotion Picture online, that the card was linked to today’s Who Daily. I’ve locked it to myself on this journal, and hopefully I can get the link removed and the post set to public again when I actually work on the card.

BTW, the Emotion Picture is amazing—it’s everything I’ve wanted in a queer black sci-fi story that I haven’t seen in a lot of recent sci-fi canons lately (looking at you, Doctor Who). I highly recommend it. (It’s different from Janelle Monáe’s actual album; the songs in the Emotion Picture are out of order and some have been abbreviated [for length or lyrical content] for the narrative.)
