It's taken me a long while to even compose this. Don't know if anyone will honestly read this. Oh well.
I've spent the last few months falling back on offline hobbies. My interest in fandoms has been partially dictated by real world stuff. Do I want to keep enjoying this fandom because it's tied into things I don't personally believe in? For the moment, unless I can find evidence to the contrary, it's no. The other things plaguing my fandom interest still linger--do I feel inspired enough to write this thing? Am I still haunted by trolls in 2024? Can I ever like this fandom I liked before the pandemic happened again? Or before this show had its last season?
I've got some ideas. (Sorry, still not Doctor Who at the moment.) I may work on them independently of a big bang of sorts. We'll see. One thing is a kink meme prompt still open in a page in my browser after months. The other is a sequel to this thing I wrote a while back. Going to get back into the writing thing, even if it isn't writing every day or every month.
