Title: The Enchanted Candle
Fandom: Once Upon a Time
Rating: G
Content notes: Spoilers for Season 2.
Artist notes: screencaps taken from

Summary: Picspam of Snow White holding the Enchanted Candle.
The Enchanted Candle is a candle that can be burned at both ends. It contains dark magic. After the ends are lit and a spell uttered, the candle can be used to save a person's life at the expense of another.
It's not known how the candle is made and formed, but it ends up in the possession of Cora, mother of Snow White's main enemy Regina. Cora was humiliated by Snow White's mother, Eva, in the realm of the Enchanted Forest, and hopes to take vengeance on her.
Cora, in disguise as the (good) Blue Fairy, gives young Snow the candle. Eventually Snow doesn't use the candle to save Eva's life, and she dies, much to Cora's delight.
Snow later uses the candle in Storybrooke to enchant Cora's heart to save Mr. Gold/Rumpelstiltskin, who is dying of a poisoned stab wound. (Cora had taken out her heart so she could be an efficient ruler without letting love cloud her judgement.) Snow tricks Regina into putting Cora's enchanted heart in her body; the enchanted heart kills Cora.
