For this exchange, I’m requesting both fanfic and fanart!

Here are my DNWs: character bashing, crossovers, vomitplay, mundane AUs, high school/college AUs, curtainfic/curtainart, anything dealing with non-canon impregnation, babies, and/or children, and fics written in the second person. Except for Dirty Computer (obviously), I don’t want songfic.

I’m equally happy with gen fic, or, where applicable, het and femslash.

Black Panther (2018)

Nakia (Black Panther): I’m so interested in what she does as a spy. I felt the scene where she tries to rescue girls in Nigeria was so brief—I’d love a scene or an expansion of that. I’m also interested in her life with the River Tribe, or anything set before this movie.

Dirty Computer - Janelle Monáe (Music Video)

Video here; it’s around 50 minutes, and I think it’s age-restricted, if you’re trying to watch it without a YouTube account. Also, if you saw this on TV, the YouTube version has a cut scene, and the ending is edited differently (the initial credits are placed earlier than they were for the TV version).

Group: Jane 57821 & Zen: I feel a lot of Jane’s memories with Zen aren’t told in a literal way; I sense there’s a lot of innuendo in her memories, for one. So I think it’d be fun to see Jane’s memories retold in a “realistic” way. I do understand that not everyone’s up for retellings, so I’d also love further explorations of the dystopia Jane and Zen live in, or what they did after the “Emotion Picture” with Che. Did Jane and Zen recover their lost memories, or do they just have moments where there are blanks in their heads? You can include Che in the fic if you wish; I’m not opposed to threesome fic.

Jane 57821 (Dirty Computer): I’d love to read anything set before the “Emotion Picture” for Jane: her life before meeting Zen, how she organized saving Zen from the House of the New Dawn, and what are those “memories” (the videos for “Django Jane” and “I Like That”), if they’re not memories, anyway? Or anything set after the “Emotion Picture.”

Zen (Dirty Computer): I’d love to see a further exploration of Zen’s hobbies that were mentioned in the “Emotion Picture:” how she made films (with her trumpet), how she played instruments (maybe just the trumpet that has a camera lens in it?), that part where she’s like a priest shaving off peoples’ heads, her love of drawing/tattooing, or anything else. Or I’d also love to see Zen shortly after she’s captured, taken in the van, and presumably driven to the House of the New Dawn. How did she lose her memories of Zen and Che? And how did she eventually become “Maryapple 53?” (Note: I’ve also seen the name spelled as Mary Apple 53; I’m not picky about the spelling of that particular name.) And I’m also curious about what happened after she left the House of the New Dawn with Che and Jane.

Doctor Who (2005)

Ashildr | Lady Me (Doctor Who (2005)): I'd really like to see something from Ashildr/Me's life that never was seen in the four episodes she was in. Her exploits during the 800 years of adventure she had between "The Girl Who Died" and "The Woman Who Lived" (her exploits in war, or that one time she tried to cure a village and was drowned for being a witch, or that one time she was a queen, or that time she was in the leper village, or anything else), what Ashildr did before she was mayor of that street, or even when she was mayor of the street. Or anything that happened between "Face the Raven" and "Hell Bent"--how did Ashildr end up in the cloisters of Gallifrey, alone with only a chess set to keep her company? Her relationship with the father of her children, her relationship with her children, or her exploits with Clara post-series. Or you can make anything you'd like.

Missy: I’d prefer something set prior to Series 10 with Missy. And please, no Thirteen and/or any companions and characters yet to be seen in Series 11.

Other than that, I like Missy getting into schemes whether it’s with Twelve, Clara, or someone else. Or explorations of “what if” scenarios, like what if Clara was Missy’s companion, or what if Missy helped the Doctor after he returned to Gallifrey (after “Hell Bent”). Or filling in lapses in Missy’s on-screen timeline—how did she get off of Skaro in “The Witch’s Familiar,” for instance. And if you want to write darker fic for Missy, I don’t mind, either.

Black Lightning (TV)

Group: Anissa Pierce & Grace Choi (TV): I wish they spent more time on screen together! It feels like their relationship was forsaken for the “family on the run” plot near the end of the first season, and Anissa didn’t seem too bothered about missing Grace at all. So I’d love scenes of them meeting up in canon, away from Anissa’s work and/or as Thunder. Future fic would be lovely as well—what if Grace developed powers? How would that change their relationship? How would that change the relationships within their families?

Anissa Pierce: I thought it was odd that Anissa, as Thunder, was okay with men ogling her online and in person, and I thought she’d make some sort of “I’m not interested in men” gesture to tell them to fuck off. So I’d love something along the lines of that. I’m also interested in seeing the following: Anissa learn to handle her powers, Anissa at her job, or solo missions for Thunder.

Killing Eve (TV 2018)

(ETA: Since I just learned that there’s an “article” that linked to Killing Eve fanfic, if you feel the need to lock your fic, please do.)

Group: Eve Polastri & Villanelle:Canon divergence AUs for these two are welcome! I swore the end of the first season of Killing Eve would end with Eve and Villanelle on the run. It didn’t. So what if they did travel together on the run? Do they kill people? Track down the Twelve? Does Villanelle flirt with Eve a lot? Or any other canon divergence AU would be great—what if Eve decided to sleep with Villanelle instead? What if Eve found a way for Villanelle to stop from killing Konstantin? I’m also interested in any missing scenes you can write for the two of them.

Eve Polastri: I’d love to see Eve’s life before the show—how she ended up in London, the monotony of her MI5 job. I’m not too crazy about Niko, but otherwise I’d love to see her interactions with the people she used to work for.

Villanelle | Oksana Astankova: Anything about Villanelle’s life before the show. Her love of perfume. Her relationship with Anna. Working as an assassin. One of her kills. Canon divergent AUs are also great with Villanelle: What if Anna did follow her to Paris? What if Villanelle took pity on Irina and took her with her after killing Konstantin? What if she didn’t kill Konstantin?

Westworld (TV)

Group: Maeve Millay & Clementine Pennyfeather: For this group, I want the original Clementine (played by Angela Sarafyan), not her replacement. Show me a moment not seen in the show with them, like maybe the first time Maeve encountered hearing about Clementine's nightmares, or a moment where Clementine isn't picking up a human at the saloon for sex. Was there a moment where Maeve had to comfort Clementine for some reason? Or some what if" scenarios--what if Maeve found a way to revive Clementine instead of leaving her behind in Cold Storage? What if Clementine became as aware of her surroundings like Maeve was and assisted her in gaining control over Westworld Headquarters? Gen or slash is okay for this group.

Charlotte Hale (Westworld): I wonder how someone like Charlotte became so overconfident and ruthless as she climbed up the Delos business ladder. Anything speculating how she ended up that way would be wonderful. Was she always ruthless? Was she more idealistic at one point? Was she frustrated when she was in a lesser postition with Delos, watching the James Delos hosts getting burned to a crisp while they were being tested?

I also can’t shake her scene with Delores from “Phase Space.” I get the scene was about Delores nearly getting revenge on Charlotte for allowing the hosts to be treated poorly for decades, but that scene was so unintentionally hot. And after she tied up Hector to a bed and had her way with him, I can totally imagine Charlotte having some sort of relationship with Delores, be it platonic or sexual. I can’t imagine it was pleasant for Delores, though. Of course, writing about Charlotte and Delores is optional. Anything showcasing Charlotte’s awfulness would be lovely. I just love Charlotte being bad. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

Maeve Millay: I’m interested in several aspects of Maeve’s life. Maeve's life as a madam. Her old life in Escalante. Her old life with her daughter before William killed the two of them and Maeve was reprogrammed. Anything about her relationship with Hector. Anything that happened during Maeve’s search for her daughter (including Shogun World). I have a feeling Maeve’s going to encounter Ghost Nation again, since they have her daughter. Anything speculating about their encounter (or anything not shown on TV about their encounter, if it’s shown this season) would also be great. Or anything about her recovery after being (accidentally?) gunnned down by those Mesa guards. For this prompt, as long as it’s something about Maeve, I’ll be happy.

Game of Thrones (TV)

Brienne of Tarth (GoT): I'm interested in Brienne's pre-series story, her travels and misadventures with Jamie, or anything with her traveling with Sansa and Podrick (and Theon, if you'd like) in the North. I'm happy with gen, het, or femslash for Brienne.

Group: Arya Stark & Sansa Stark (GoT): I’d prefer anything set after season six, when Arya returned to Stark-controlled Winterfell. Anything that happened off-screen between the two in Winterfell would be awesome. I’m also great with canon AUs of Arya’s return to Winterfell, like if she had gotten Nymeria to return with her to Winterfell, or a situation arose and Arya had to rely on her skills learned by the Faceless Men to get into Winterfell to reveal her true identity. I also like this cracky idea inspired by a Sophie Turner interview: Sansa as Queen of the Andals and Arya as Sansa’s hand. How does Sansa become Queen and how does Arya become her Hand? What do they do once they are Queen and Hand? Gen or slash is okay for this group.

Group: Brienne of Tarth & Sansa Stark (GoT): Brienne is always looking for someone to declare fealty to. And although her awful experiences with Joffrey and Ramsay hardened her, I feel there's still a bit of Sansa left that imagines she's one of those courtly women in the legends and songs she heard while she was growing up. With these two, just go all out with the loyalty/fealty trope if you wish. I feel these two are perfect for it. I’m interested in fic set during the period where Sansa escaped Winterfell under Bolton control and after the Starks took back Winterfell, but if you want to write anything else with these two in canon, go for it! I’m also interested in a canon AU where Sansa is Queen of the Andals and Brienne serves under her. Is Brienne her Hand? Leader of the Queensguard? Something else? I’m happy with either gen or slash for this group.

Group: Yara Greyjoy & Daenerys Targaryen (GoT): I was thrilled when the show reveal Yara liked women, and I really liked that little bit of flirting between the two of them in Mereen. (I'm even more impressed that the flirting between them was improvised.) Since there hasn't been a lot of on-screen interaction between the two of them, I'd be delighted with anything you can write between the two of them in canon, like the two of them in Mereen before going to Dragonstone, or Yara just before she leaves for King’s Landing. I also wouldn’t be opposed to a canon AU where Daenerys decides to head to King's Landing to free Yara herself. Gen or slash is okay with this group for me.

Thor (Movies)

Valkyrie (Thor (Movies)): Anything with Val would please me. Show me her days with the Valkyrior, before the majority of them fell to Hela. How she fell into bounty hunting for the Grandmaster. Befriending and hanging out with Hulk—I love their friendship so much. Or anything closer to Tessa Thompson’s vision of Val, like her luring the women that sleep with her in her Sakaar bedroom.

Brunnhilde | Valkyrie & Valkyrie who saved her: Show me when they first met, presumably when the Valkyrior first formed. Show me their missions together. Show me the times they spent together alone. On a sad note, I wouldn’t mind seeing Val haunted by this Valkyrie on Sakaar, and Val trying to drink away the pain.
