Yeah, so I let actual voting on the latest femslashficlets table pass me by, and even then, I would’ve voted on "90s songs."

Anyway, without digging myself into a bigger hole, I decided to claim this table so I could write Call the Midwife fic. This could all change! But for the moment I’ve claimed Patsy/Delia. Fills in threaded comments, I guess.

Update, January 7: It is done. It’ll take me a while to format this for AO3, but I’ll mark the claim as complete in a couple of days at the comm.

(Set after Series 6, before the 2017 Christmas special. The fog of 1962 is used as a plot device since it wasn’t used in the show. The plan is to write 20 drabbles to tell a 2K long fic.)

They met in their usual spot in the cafe where no one assumed they were a couple. “We can’t stay in Nonnatus House forever, Delia,” Patsy said. “Phyllis might not say anything. But it’s a miracle none of the nuns have caught us in the act yet.”

“What are you suggesting, Pats?”

“I’m going to leave Nonnatus House and join you in the hospital. And we should get our own flat again. I’ve lost my father. I don’t want to lose you, too. So what do you say? Should we try again?”

Delia smiled. “Yes, Pats, we should try again.”
