my maybe semi-annual Diary of River Song update (now unlocked)

So I just preordered the one thing I will apparently pay money for on Big Finish’s site, the fifth series of The Diary of River Song (aka The One with [Almost] All the Masters). Big Finish says that the digital downloads are supposed to come out on January 31, but this is Big Finish, and who really knows when exactly the downloads will be available (I do know this series was delayed for a production error of some sort). Whenever the audio comes out, I’ll review it. [ETA: Just saw a promotional Tweet saying the series will arrive in “five days.” So five days from now, I guess.]

And yes, I will also be doing the sixth series (The One with the First Doctor) and the seventh (um, according to Big Finish, “story details to come soon”). But I won’t cover Big Finish’s International Womens’ Day special, or their anniversary audio set, or River’s continuing arc in the Eighth Doctor audios. Or the Missy audios. My wallet has to draw the line somewhere.
